Another awesome thing happened..
I spun fire in front of my mother, which I gotta say caused me to mess up a few times just having her there watching me, but she kept on saying how beautiful it was. So I guess I did a job well done in my book.
Just finished some backyard fire spinning..
Nothing like getting myself more familiar with fire. Got a little burn on my arm though, but nothing too big (the mark of the wire on the hoop wick), but I definitely need to get myself some Kevlar sleeves. I had fun figuring out my limitations without the pressure of wondering what everyone thinks. Plus my friend Lisa had her virgin hoop burn and loved it. She’s better with some fire moves better than I can, it’s interesting to figure out everyone’s strengths. I spun some fire poi too for the hell of it, if anything it motivates me to learn more. Now that I think about it, I really wish I did some poi classes at F.L.A.M.E.
I need to re-teach myself how to use a sewing machine..
Because cute hooping clothes are too damn expensive.
